「火球男」Aroldis Chapman在今年季後賽頻繁出賽，尤其是世界大賽7戰出賽5場，今天火球男說話了。火球男表示他不認同小熊隊總教練Joe Maddon的調度方式，但他身為一名球員，就像一名戰士一樣，必須要隨時準備好自己，做好自己的工作。

火球男今年7月底被洋基隊交易到小熊隊，為小熊隊構築一道堅固的最後防線，季賽出賽28場，防禦率1.01，季後賽出賽13場，4場救援成功，防禦率3.45。小熊隊睽違108年之後再次拿到世界大賽冠軍，火球男貢獻了自己的最大心力。

今天火球男主要是不認同小熊隊在世界大賽最後兩戰的調度方式，世界大賽第6戰，小熊隊已取得7比2的領先，但總教練卻在7局下派出火球男登板，這一戰他投1.1局失1分，終場小熊9比3擊敗印地安人隊。

關鍵的第7戰，火球男又在8局下登板，他的球速已明顯下降，結果被印地安人隊Rajai Davis轟出2分彈，6比6追平，差點成了罪人，幸好延長賽10局上小熊隊攻得致勝的2分，終場8比7贏球，才能贏得等待108年的世界大賽冠軍。

火球男今天主要是針對這兩戰的投手調度方式發表看法，他認為第6戰已經大幅領先，贏球的機會很大，應該要把重點放在第7戰，結果他第6戰已上場，第7戰再上場，確實感到疲勞。

火球男說我不同意他（Joe Maddon）使用我的方式，但他是總教練，他有他的戰略，我的工作是準??備好自己，準備好隨時隨地，無論是多少局，我需要為此做好準備，我需要去做我的工作。我從來沒有告訴他們我對他使用我的方式的看法，因為我覺得作為球員，我們是戰士。

火球男季後成了自由球員，最後他決定與洋基隊簽下5年8600萬美元的合約，重新回到洋基隊。
